ATTENTION PARENTS & STUDENTS A new district-wide cell phone policy takes effect THIS school year. No student shall possess on his/her person any cell phone, smartwatch, or similar electronic communication device, camera, MP3 player, iPod, or other portable music device during school hours. A telephone/electronic communication device found in the possession of a student during the school day will be seized by school personnel and returned only to the parent/guardian according to campus policy. Repeated offenses could result in disciplinary actions or confiscation of the device for the remainder of the school year.
** Students who have an electronic device may choose to leave it in their cars or have it in their backpack. If the device is left in the student's backpack it must be on silent or turned off during school hours.**

Congratulations to our May Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Amy Miller. She is retiring this year and will be greatly missed in the art room.
We are so excited to announce Mrs. Amber Savage as our new MMS Cheer Coach! This squad is going to have an awesome year cheering on the Panthers with her!
If you missed the opportunity to tryout, there will be another tryout when school starts.
Parents and Guardians of MMS Students please review your child’s Immunization records for the following vaccines.
Re: Tdap Vaccine for 6th Graders
Arkansas state law requires that every student entering the 6th grade have a one dose of Tdap for ages 11 years old (as of September 1st each year) and older.
Re: Meningococcal Vaccine for 7th Graders
Arkansas state law requires that every student entering the 7th grade have a Meningococcal vaccine.
PLEASE CALL the health unit at 870-235-3798 or your PCP to schedule an appointment and provide a copy of the updated immunization record to the Magnolia Middle school nurse on/before July 25, 2024. For further questions or concerns, please contact the school office 870-234-2206.
