500 cardinals took over MHS campus Thursday night. Students came to school Friday dressed in their hunting gear, bird calls and all, ready to search high and low to capture them all. The birds were successfully caught and safely caged. 5 of the cardinals were even found wearing Panther football jerseys! Congrats to our winners and thank you to everyone who participated in getting the birds back home! Go Panthers!

Can Barbie safely jump from the concessions area in the arena? Students in Mrs. Herren's AP Statistics class used linear regression models to find out. At the beginning of their unit covering scatter plots, they collected data on how far Barbie fell using a limited number of rubber bands. Throughout the unit they learned about analyzing their data to predict how many rubber bands would be needed for the final jump. Today we put their predictions to the test. A few Barbies were injured but some survived the fall!
