Magnolia High School Quiz Bowl Wins 5A-South Regional Championship
MAGNOLIA, AR – The Magnolia High School Quiz Bowl team secured first place in the 5A-South Regional Tournament, with an undefeated record. Competing in three rounds, MHS was the only team to win every game, making them the clear regional champions.
In addition to the team’s impressive performance, three MHS students earned individual recognition by qualifying for the all-tournament team. Seniors Brodie Goodwin, Blake Green, and freshman Xola Schlamp averaged at least five questions per game to earn this honor.
With this victory, the team advances to the 5A State Tournament, which will take place in White Hall on April 12. The Panthers are eager to bring their momentum to the state level and compete for another championship.
